New York April 7, 2009 The National Academy of Television Arts Sciences (NATAS) today announced the broadcast of the 36th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards on The CW Television Network on Sunday, August 30th, 2009 from the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. The show is a unique partnership between Associated Television International (ATI), NATAS and MGM Worldwide Television, which is handling distribution of the telecast.
The Daytime Emmy Awards are one of the cornerstones of our business, said Frank Radice, President Chief Marketing Officer, NATAS. There wouldnt be a television awards season without them. From the extravagant red carpet to the great entertainment, the viewer will experience the show through new approaches which will make this years show more robust and relevant than ever before.

Nominations will be released on May 14th, 2009, some of which will be announced on NBCs Today with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb (10am ET). Now, if you eat way to much every day, your muscles will get their energy supply from all this food, which is why an overweight person may be working out diligently seven days a week like a horse, and never lose a pound, because there are just too many beers, pizza and nachos in the picture.
But suppose you are like many people out there, watching what you eat, practicing portion control, counting calories, limiting sugar and fried foods, and exercising day after day after day and you just arent seeing any results? Is this aggravating or what?
You are so serious about your workouts. Without fail, you make it to the gym almost every day. On your days off, you exercise maybe by riding a bike, walking or jogging at the park. Why isnt the weight coming off? Why are your legs still flabby? Why is your middle still mushy?
Its because your muscles have adapted to everything you are doing. This doesnt mean that your routines are necessarily easy. They may still bring on sweat and fatigue, and even a little muscle burn. So shouldnt you be losing more weight?
Its time for muscle confusion. If your routine is predictable to your muscles, they will adapt. An adapted muscle requires LESS work than a confused muscle. Less work equals fewer calories burned, less body fat used for energy.
So instead of doing the same thing week after week after week for your legs, change up your program every few weeks. You maybe have heard this should be done every 12 weeks. Sometimes the protocol is named as eight weeks. But strive for a big change every 2-4 weeks, and see what happens!
You can switch up your routines by using different pieces of equipment or doing different exercises for the major muscle groups.
So if you always use the horizontal leg press, instead use: declined leg press, Smith machine barbell squats, hack squats.
If you do lying-down hamstring curls, do them on the seated machine.
If your gym has more than one leg extension machine, try another leg extension machine. The different make and model will stimulate your muscles.
Do you use mostly machines for upper body work? Start using dumbbells and barbells. Confuse your muscles. Shock them.
Do you always use the elliptical trainer for cardio? Start jogging on the treadmill. If you use the same piece of cardio equipment three times a week, take one of those sessions and replace it with a group cardio class.
If you never use an incline on the treadmill, start using a high one, but do not hold on. Holding on will cheat you big-time. If youve been holding on at no incline, then let go and swing your arms and never hold on again. Your muscles will be gratefully confused.
If youve been walking all this time, then jog. If you use mostly free weights, replace some of these routines with machines.
Bottom line: Never let your body get used to your workout routine. This will ensure muscle confusion.

So when, after discovering me on the sofa in the sitting-room as she got the kids off for their last day in school before the holidays, it was not entirely a surprise to hear her charge upstairs to their bedroom screaming like a virago and calling me names that even the lads on the building site wouldnt dare use to me. I thought it best to scarper. What inspired me to something so infantile as to go out the back way and hop over the wall into a neighbours garden I cant imagine. Stupidity and alcohol I suppose.
I slid down into the gap between the rough concrete and a garden shed. You could tell there hadnt been much traffic here the rotted branches of exhausted shrubs snapped quietly under my weight. No kids in this house so. They would surely have made a den or buried a pet or lost a ballthere would have been signs. That was a bit of luck for a start. Pulling back a coarse bramble, which repaid me by drawing blood from elbow to fingertip, I edged around the side of the wooden building. Another bit of luck. There were some trees that gave a bit of cover while I sussed out whether the house was occupied and what were my chances of making it to the side gate before I was spotted. It was only then that it dawned on me that discovery could mean screams and alarms followed by police cars sirening their way up the street outside and manhandling me into the back of a cop car, carefully putting their hands on my head to make sure I didnt damage the body-work. They only do that after they have kicked the daylights out of you or so it seems from TV.
All clear, no sign of life. Easy-peasy. Theyd all be gone to work in this area. No dole-queuing for the smart asses like the brother-in-law well not yet anyway. Wait till the recession got round to them! Then theyd know all about it. Then theyd be imprisoned in their comfortable residences trying to feed kids on dole money and screaming at one another from morning till night.
I edged through the trees and caught the sleeve of my shirt on a wizened branch that hadnt even the strength to tear the surface of the shiny material when I pulled it away. Jaysus! There was a dame lying dead in a chair about fifteen feet away! A navy white sheet was thrown over her and there were white flowers all around like a bleeding funeral parlour. Thats why I hadnt noticed her. Her hair shone in the sun as if she had already turned into a saint or something you know the glow they have in holy pictures? Christ, what will I do? Theyll think I murdered her! My legs went weak and I had to hold on to the tree to keep me upright. Should I go back and face the screamers in the house Id left or take my chances of slipping past the body and out the side gate?
I decided to face the music and head back the way I came and as I forced my feet to carry me, there was a tiny movement from the body and a white, be-ringed hand reached towards a glass that stood on the ground beside her and lazily twirled a cocktail umbrella ..

Lance’s first big achievement was flying solo in 1953 and perhaps his next was marrying his wife Liz in 1955, after meeting her at a function at Royal Newcastle Aero Club. Liz had migrated from Germany and although spoke English, she soon learned the language of aviation call signs.
With a string of qualifications, experience, and licenses, Lance built a reputation somewhat of “the golden guru in the Tiger Moth world,” according to John Fisher, well known aviator who, with Lance’s contribution, helped him fly from London to Australia in a Tiger Moth.
Lance Fletcher’s professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for these bi-planes has been translated in restorations all over the world.
Lance’s sons will continue his interests with Tiger Moths; in particularly with one they are halfway to completion. Back in 2002, when Lance began to have trouble with his health, his sons decided he needed a distraction and this time a project of his own. After a road trip to Caboolture in Queensland, they returned with the parts of a Tiger Moth PVZ. Ironically Lance had previously worked on this aircraft on this previously after former owners had flipped it during his days at the Aero Club.
Just to keep his family on the project, Lance asked that his ashes be released from this particular bi-plane over Luskintyre airfield, where he has helped many others become airborne. He will of course be in good company along.
On Friday, 10 July 2009 Liz Fletcher, her four grown up lads, daughter, and 10 grandchildren farewelled Lance with a service and Tiger Moth Fly past of 6 Tiger Moths.
Aviators and members and friends of the Luskintyre Aviation Flying Museum and Ray Windred and his restoration team at Luskintyre will dearly miss him, but his spirit will keep flying in his workmanship in so many aircrafts he has restored.

Theres no question that Michael Jackson was killed by western medicine. Autopsies reveal a devastating pattern of drug injections, bone mineral loss (he suffered rib fractures when administered CPR) and hair loss. When he died, his stomach contained not food, but half-digested pharmaceuticals (http://www.s2smagazine.com/node/1206).
As stated in a previous NaturalNews article (http://www.naturalnews.com/026517_M), I believe Michael Jackson was chemically abused by his handlers in some sort of twisted, pharmaceutically-powered profit motive. But what, if anything, could Jackson have done differently with his health to have avoided this tragic death while pursuing many more decades of healthy songwriting and public performance?
For starters, lets state the obvious: Performing in public is excruciatingly stressful, especially if done on a regular basis. Dancing and singing on stage takes its toll on anyone, and for it to be pursued, it must be accompanied by a serious commitment to a healthy diet.
Heres the diet Michael Jackson could have pursued to keep himself alive and vibrant while continuing to share his musical gifts with the world.
The Michael Jackson diet that could have been
• 90% plants, 10% meats (if desired)
A healthy diet must be based on plants to begin with. I dont know if Michael Jackson was a vegetarian, but he would have done well to pursue a primarily plant-based diet. If he wished to eat meats, adding a small amount of omega-3 rich fish to his diet could have been helpful. At least half of his plant intake should have consisted of raw, living plants (sprouts, for example).
• Fresh raw superfood smoothie every day
To keep up with his performance schedule, Jackson would have needed at least one major infusion each day of high-density nutrients in the form of a superfood smoothie. There are many recipes he could have followed, and here are some elements he could have included in the recipes: Raw avocados, raw cacao powder, high-end superfood powders (like Pure Synergy, Boku Superfood or LivingFuel), organic celery, raw cruciferous vegetables, fresh wheatgrass juice and much more.
• For sustained energy during the day (coupled with healthy sleep at night), Jackson could have consumed bee pollen, cordyceps (and other medicinal mushrooms like Chaga), rhodiola and even raw buckwheat granola with homemade, raw almond milk.
• To increase his bone density and greatly improve his emotional state, Jackson could have pursued a daily dose of sunlight exposure, even in the privacy of a courtyard in his own mansion. The sunlight would have radically improved his bone health while helping eliminate the need for all the dangerous psychiatric medications he had been taking.
• Instead of taking pharmaceuticals to manage his sleep cycles, Jackson could have used sunlight exposure combined with natural dietary supplements to get him on the right track: Chamomile, melatonin or even Kava Kava (once his liver function had improved).
• Jackson should have adamantly refused to consume any sodas or caffeine (due to their bone-wasting effects), and he no doubt needed to greatly increase the alkalinity of his diet through the consumption of greens, spring water and fresh vegetable juices (Juice Feasting).
• Because of the huge pharmaceutical burden that had been placed upon him, Jackson no doubt needed a huge liver cleanse, which could have been accomplished with the help of the cleansing products from Dr. Ed Group (www.GHChealth.com) or Jon Barron (www.BaselineNutritionals.com), or many other cleansing experts.
This list, of course, could go on for days. With the amount of money Jackson had at his command, the natural world could have been his medicine chest. And yet, sadly, it appears Jacksons medical advisors offered him no such advice. While we cant know what conversations went on between Jackson and his doctors, from the autopsy report we can certainly gather than his doctors were all too eager to pursue the pharmaceutical injection route rather than insist that Jackson try something more natural to resolve his underlying health issues.
Choose your medical advice carefully
We cant blame Jackson for all this, in other words. He may have been surrounded by precisely the wrong people those who kept pumping him full of chemicals rather than recommending real food. The fact that Jackson died with half-digested pills in his stomach rather than real food is a strong indication of the way he lived his life for the past few years. His doctors gave him chemicals, not food. And he paid the ultimate price for following their dangerous advice.
Jacksons death teaches us all a hugely important lesson: When it comes to health, be careful of whose advice you choose to follow. If you follow the advice of a conventional medical doctor, you, too, may die with a stomach full of half-digested pills. You may live your final years in excruciating pain, watching your body waste away in the mirror, a victim to the chemical agenda of the pharmaceutical industry (or the cancer industry).

Health is more important than wealth
Jackson, you see, had fame and fortune. But without his health, all the rest was virtually meaningless. YOU can achieve a degree of health that exceeds what Michael Jackson experienced, and you dont have to be a super-famous celebrity to pull it off. Good health, in fact, is ridiculously simple and affordable. It requires no doctors, no pharmaceuticals and no suffering. Its based on the natural principles of human biology and Mother Nature, and it is within the reach of every single person living today (including celebrities).
Michael Jackson was apparently never taught these principles, and he was no doubt by his handlers in an attempt to isolate him from many outside influences. But you, on the other hand, have no such barriers.
Consider your lack of celebrity status a blessing. It gives you the freedom of not being hounded by the media or pressured by your handlers. It allows you to go shopping in a health food store in a state of relative anonymity, where you can buy your foods in private, without a gang of tabloid photographers assaulting your senses with camera flashes. YOU, in other words, have opportunities to live your life in a healthy way that Michael Jackson could never have accomplished. He was too famous, too wealthy and too valuable to his handlers. Jackson had neither his privacy nor his health. But you can have both.
And I beg each of you, please take every opportunity you have to be healthy and long-lived, regardless of whatever level of economic abundance or personal fame you may have achieved. Theres a lot more to life than money and fame, and even if you manage to become the most famous person in the world, dying at age fifty is a life cut far too short.

The Disciples of Yahshua, were to proclaim the Gospel [the good news] of the Kingdom of YAHWEH, and to feed MY sheep (which means teaching the Divine knowledge needed to develop in grace, spiritual knowledge, and GODLY character).
It has been suggested, that these dozen called out disciples of Yahshua had more impact on world history then any other group of twelve men who have ever lived. Yahshua did not choose men from the holier than thou crowd, and they were not high society types. They were common working men. From tentmaker to fisherman, Yahshua called out men that generally were not at all refined, cultured or educated. They were rough men living rough lives, they would use profanity, smelled of fish and were dirty. Another Disciple was a tax collector, not necessarily the most popular man in town. They are listed in Matthew 10:1-4; Mark 3:13-19; Luke 6:12-16.
A point often missed is that YAHWEH, always as a principal, used plain people to carry out important spiritual missions, and Yahshua did the same. Todays social snobbishness would find these ordinary men, who were laborers for a living, and then took up the work of preaching a Great Message, unacceptable as ministers. Not to mention inviting them into your home and listening to their spiritual concepts, and then wanting to join up with them. Yet they have the highest positions in the church. The lesson is, YAHWEH judges the heart not outside appearances.
When the righteous hearts of the Disciples were empowered by the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, these rough-hewn Galileans, were filled with new boldness and understanding, (Act.ch.2). Transformed and powered by the Holy Spirit, the Disciples became Apostles, which means sent forth one chosen and sent with a special commission as an authorized representative of the sender. They preached with power and boldness, performing healings and miracles. Their appeal for the faith was irresistible, and their zeal for the Gospel was powerful, inspiring thousands to convert.
Ambassadors of the Kingdom is what the true Believers are considered to be (2Cor.5:20). The prime directive of Ambassadorship: Love your GOD, and love your neighbor. And, . . . forgive them for they know not what they do . . ., is the motto (Luk.23:34).
To be an Ambassador of the Kingdom means you are a Friend of the Kingdom, not a servant to it. The Believers are considered Friends because of the Divine Knowledge revealed to them, (Jno.15:15).
The Believers know Satan is the target of this spiritual war not our neighbor, (Eph.6:12). Satan is the god of this world, and the Believers in our CREATOR are living in their native lands but as aliens.
The Believers are in this world, but not of this world. The Believers are citizens of the Heavenly Kingdom of YAHWEH (Phi.3:20), fellow citizens with the Old Testament Saints (Eph.2:19) under the authority of the Messiah. They follow local customs in clothing, food, and other aspects of life but as citizens of the Heavenly Kingdom, they are only passing their days on Earth.
Knowin is the easy part! This is not a church of potted plants. The citizens are Ambassadors of the Kingdom and represent their Government. This is not a passive role. It is a pro-active role. They live by example and share the spiritual truths that they have learned, using clear and simple language not political style double-talk (Mat.5:37).
They are present in the flesh but do not live according to the flesh. They obey mans laws but go beyond that and follow the Heavenly Laws in their own lives. They are treated with outrageous disrespect but behave respectfully and bless those in return. They are dishonored and their names blackened but they gain glory through dishonor, and their names are cleared in the Heavenly Book of Life.
The Mystery Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed; -1 Corinthians 15:51 As the scripture says: Watch . . . and pray to be counted worthy to escape . . ., Luke 21:36. First the dead in Christ, then the living in Christ will be called up to meet Him in the air, 1Thessalonians 4:16-17. It may be interesting to note that some humans will never experience death. This remarkable supernatural event, commonly called the by todays Christians, comes from the Latin word rapere, which means to snatch away or to be caught up. It is an excellent word describing what the Bible says will happen.
The first rapture-event described in the Bible is when Enoch was caught up to Heaven before the flood (Gen.5:24). Another rapture happened with Elijah described in 2Kings 2:17, Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. This belief of a rapture-event is also what numerous documents from the early church leaders (first 300 years) revealed.
The Rapture is the blessed hope, (Tit.2:13). It is the comforting hope, (1The.4:18). And it is the purifying hope, (1Jno.3:3). During this Age of Grace, the Messiah is calling out disciples to help Him rule the earth during His Millennium reign. These called-out ones are known as the Bride of the Messiah or Christ. The true Believers of the Messiah are called three things in the New Testament: The Church, in Acts 2:47. The Body of Christ, in 1Corinthians 12:13. And, the Bride, in John 3:29. It refers to a great mystery told as an allegory of a symbolic union of husband and wife in Ephesians 5:25-32. An allegory, is a story that symbolically represents another meaning other than what is apparently stated. Yahshua used this teaching technique in His parables, to teach complex Heavenly lessons by comparing them to simple everyday objects.
(Just for the record, and to avoid confusion, all those humans who did not know the Messiah, or were not chosen by the Him, or chose not commit themselves to the higher Covenants, will sleep until the time of the final Great White Throne Judgment of YAHWEH, after the earthly 1,000 year millennial rule of the Messiah. The question every Believer ponders is, how many people will be called-out by Yahshua? Some say tens of millions of people will be called, and the puritans would say the numbers are much smaller.
Some say the term Christian has already been ruined by its many pretenders, maybe so, but then every religion has its pretenders and hucksters. In surveys taken in the United States and Canada almost 80% of the people responded saying they are Christian. But when asked the following: Do you believe the Bible to be the inspired word of GOD? Do you study the Bible? Do you believe in creation? Do you believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ? Do you believe in His blood atonement for sin? Then the numbers drop to about 13% of those claiming to be believing Christians.
A hint can be found in Yahshuas messages to the seven churches in Revelation ch.2-3. Out of the seven churches only one was commended by Him. There is one revealing passage in Revelation 3:15-16 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. In simpler terms just going through the motions is not enough. (For more info see Ego Religion.)
Throughout the ages, there are always a lot of debate and doctrine among the Christian churches on how to get to Heaven. Today, surveys generally show that over 85% of Americans think they will go to Heaven, but only about 40% think their neighbor will get in. Why does it seem like the standard is always higher for those who live next door?
It is a thorny issue, and since I am not compiling the list, we will leave that debate to others . . ..
YAHWEH knows your heart and HE knows who the Believers are. When Elijah went out into the desert to escape persecution and said, I am alone. YAHWEH answered, No, I have 7,000 Believers here (1Kgs.19:18). When the Holy Spirit came upon the assembly on Pentecost described in Acts ch.2, HE knew exactly how many Believers there were. While Paul was teaching at the city of Corinth, he was afraid and thought it was hopeless, but he was told there were Believers there and he should continue his work (Act.18:10).
The Age of Grace closes when the hinderer (or the intolerant ones) is removed (2Ths.2:7). The term hinderer (some Bibles use the word restrainer, Jno.14:8), is a curious word used to describe the Holy Spirit that dwells within the true Believers of Yahshua. It can be any human being from, any domination, any nation, any ethnic origin, male or female, on the planet Earth. These are the intolerant ones fighting for freedom and they are the only power that is holding back or hindering the dark forces of evil.
When the hinderer is removed, then the world will propel itself into a period of seven years of tribulation, climaxing when the Conquering Messiah appears to save humanity. It will be Satans last attempt at establishing his New-World-Order. It will begin under the banner of peace and reform, complete with real convincing spiritual psycho-babble, all leading to a fools paradise and certain destruction. The peace will not last long, and woe to them that are weak, this society will turn on itself and many people will die during these years. This is not the talk of weird conspiracy nuts, shades of this story are in almost every culture.
Blessed are those who believe with out seeing, (Jon.20:29,1Pet.2:9). People have been seeking His return for many years, but 2Peter 3:9 says the Messiah is not slack concerning his promises. The Age of Grace remains open so as many Believers as possible may be included in His family.
The Rapture: Yahshuas lesson of the rapture is told in the parable of the fishermen recorded in John 21: 5-12. As the fishermen pulled in their nets full of fish, so will it be with the called-out ones, caught up out of their earthly world. They will be in the middle of their daily routines, then all of a sudden caught up in the spiritual net (you have only a moment to stop what you are doing and prepare). It is called the translation of the body into spirit (1Cor.15:51-53). Then taken to YAHWEHS Heaven, and once there no one will drop out of Heaven . . . the net was not broken.
Bible Believers are accustomed to reading and studying the fantastic supernatural stories which can only be carried out by a higher intelligence. There is no Biblical reason why this event will not take place. One can only imagine how the mechanics of such an event would be organized.
The records kept by the Angels record humanities history on an individual basis, people must be selected for translation, the location of the chosen humans for translation must be recorded, the temporary collection center above the Earth after translation must be determined, and then transportation with Yahshua to YAHWEHS Heaven. It takes more then say, twitching a nose to get these things done. The ground rules and executive orders are drawn up in the Great White Throne Room, and there will be a lot to do for the community of Angels who carry out these orders, under the supervision of Yahshua.
The second question every Believer ponders is, when will the rapture happen? The Millennium is a term meaning and it refers to the thousand year reign of the Messiah in connection with His return to Earth. The belief is that the Messiah will call His believers home before He returns to earth as the Conquering Messiah, but many theologians cannot even decide on the Millennium rule itself. Revelation ch.20 clearly referrers to the Messiahs thousand year rule six times, and most Jews and Christians agree the Messiahs rule will be an age of blessedness on the Earth. But because of anti-Semitism, some Christians ignore Scriptures and do not teach the Millennium-rule theory because that is what the Jews believe; they say the Millennium is the present church age a period of indefinite length. Still others regard the Millennium as a way of referring to the ages of eternity.

I find this discussion bizarre, to be honest. I dont automatically assume that my life is like everyone elses life, or that everyones reaction to stimuli and trauma falls roughly within the same narrow spectrum of reaction. And there is much that each of us keeps hidden.
But then, I reject the term fiction entirely as nonsensical and meaningless, just as I find meaningless. I have to use them sometimes because of common understandings of the terms, but that doesnt make them any more meaningful. So, the discussion becomes even more incomprehensible to me in that context. Literature is not a binary construction. No one text is exactly like any other fictional text. Writers who interest me have unique ways of looking at the world, and some may use fantastical elements and some may not. Some may use elements of and some may use and some may eschew realism altogether. A hard SF writer may seem mimetic to me in his or her approaches just as a writer whose subject is contemporary relationships, and who uses no element of fantasy, may seem to me a fabulist.
The act of committing fantasy in a story or novel no more automatically makes that writer a fabulist than makes a unicorn of an accountant who reports hearing the voices of angels.
